I've even changed these values up to these numbers with no help at all: -unlimitedlog -mm_max_resource_size 150 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 2000 -mm_pool_size 15000 Playing with DX11 mode does help with these micro freezes but doesn't make them go away. Please help!
I use this parameter (to avoid lags): -64bit -nointro -mm_max_resource_size 100 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1000 -mm_pool_size 10000 Originally posted by RayRay5 : Try running the game as administrator (right click -> run as administrator)

adding "eurotrucks2.exe" -mm_pool_size 1200 (4-6GB RAM should use 400 - max. 800 8GB and more ram: 400 max 1200) this will make Euro2 use more memory, this is needed for very big maps (the post says). Do you have experience with this?
A PC with approx. 8GB Ram should use -mm_pool_size 1500 . But for most mods and maps, 1000 will be enough (Even 500 should work for some mods. -nointro is for blocking the intro. you are done! Have fun with more Ram, less crashes and fewer lags. RAM Menge für ETS2 erhöhen Einige Karten und Mods brauchen mehr RAM als das Spiel sich selbst zusichert.

The calculation is fairly simple: mm_max_tmp_buffers_size / mm_max_resource_size = no. of temporary loading buffers The game default is 5, made up of buffer size 112 and resource size 22.

Then please explain to me why I get stable 60FPS with an i5-8300H, 16GB RAM and a GTX1050 mobile with 4GB VRAM on medium to low settings. The game is more GPU intense than it is CPU intense.
No, just in-game settings, adaptive v-sync, and the usual command line tweaks (-mm_max_resource_size 44 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 484 -mm_pool_size 16384). Throwing more CPU at ETS2 is literally the only way to get better performance with a decent GPU. The 2070 should still be fine for triple screen @ 1080p.
I noticed your log notes 1080p resolution, so 2 GB of vram usage isn't "bad" since with mine running @1440p with 300% scaling on my 970 is only utilizing 2.7 GB out of my 4 (3.5 GB for lolz) of available vram. #2. ~ {DCMT}~ Ryu Apr 4, 2017 @ 4:36am. It's not actually a problem. The game engine, when first created, didn't bother accounting for
I can afford a second 8GB ram stick if it is necessary. Yes , this amount of ram is adequate . I used to play ets2 on 8 gb ram and it worked just fine . Recently i upgraded to 16 gb ram and the game runs a little bit better . So if you currently have 8 gb of ram in your pc , dont bother upgrading your ram .
or for better performance in oculus quest 2: -oculus -64bit -nointro -mm_pool_size 8192 -mm_max_resource_size 50 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 500 Sorry and ty 🙂 May 21, 2022 at 23:04 #65949
