I think my main problem is that compared to this year’s best racing game, Test Drive Unlimited, Need for Speed: Carbon just doesn't hold a candle to it. Story - 5/10 Graphics - 6/10 Sound - 7/10 Control - 8/10 Game Play - 7/10 Replay value - 5/10 Final Score - 7/10
The Bottom Line Need for Speed: Carbon was an extremely promising game with a lot of potential. Some aspects of the game are fantastic while others are severely lacking. Had Carbon been given another year of development time, it would've been a lot better. But in the end, Carbon just feels like another rushed EA game.

Only having played one of the previous two games, I would have to say that this game is better from the last Need for Speed which was Need for Speed Most Wanted 5-1-0. From my experience in this game it seems like that it was improved from the previous to make it better and probably less annoying in some ways while at times can be a little

It was impressing to see and play. Cars looked good and the night looks superb with some of its neon colours. Violence is vehicular and in 'busted' scenes. You often bump rivals to win as they sometimes crash into other cars. Busted scenes are ruthless as the cops hurt the driver as he resists arrest. Crude humour and mild trash talk is often
Top Voted Answer. For the canyon race, dont handbrake, break only in the aproach, never in the turn, then hit the gas after ur done breaking for the corner, if u pass him on the first turn, pass him on the left, then remain in front blocking him, then hit the gas around the second corner and you should be ahead of him for ten seconds.

The new gameplay doesn't always improve the experience, but the racing can still be quite intense and still has a pronounced sense of style. That guy from Battlestar Galactica isn't much of a Razor
Need for Speed Carbon Review. Need for Speed Carbon contains some unique driving control options, but none of them can escape the sensation that this game simply wasn't built for motion I have to admit to being biased; I loved the original Need for Speed. I mean, back on the 3DO. NFS: Carbon is not like that game very much; in particular, it has a much more arcade-like feel, and cars can do a lot more that's just not plausible. On the other hand, it's a pretty fun racing game. Graphics: Quite nice.
Need for Speed Carbon Review. Oct 27, 2006 - EA returns to the flashy urban nights of Underground with a robust next-gen effort. Need for Speed Carbon. Douglass C. Perry. Release
This year's installment, Need for Speed: Carbon, continues the tradition and adds some more elements to the mix. However, is it enough to keep it fresh? Graphics: 8 No surprises here. Unlike last year's Most Wanted, Carbon takes place at night (just like the two Underground games). That means you get to roll through dimly lit streets EhSzo.
